Hey friends!
The Seniors are having an awesome time on trip! God has been faith and we are definitely learning how to rely on His strength. This week we have been able to spend time in the classroom with the kids from the Tennyson Center. Almost all the of kids have been abused and it was a stretch for some of us, but just stepping out and loving those kids has brought a new part of the Father's heart into our lives.
We have been able tutor the kids in the classroom, play miniature golf with them, go to baseball games, and most of all just show them God's loves. A simple, "You are doing a great job," goes a long way for these kids. God opened the door for me (Stephanie) to minister to a girl by our common love of music. The first night we both were able to play guitar. Since then we have shared our favorite Bible verse and part of our testimonies to each other. It was an amazing week and I know we will walk away knowing how Christ's love really does make a difference when we step out and minister to others.
Well, today we are going to church, shopping, and hanging out at Casa Bonita. Tomorrow we are hitting the white water!!! We are excited to come home, but are sad to leave those awesome kids.
